Larmer Launch was designed to simply provide robust learning content delivery capabilities. Its primary focus on content distribution is intentional and will save organisations time and money, especially when compared to the heavy investments required of a traditional Learning Management System (LMS).

Larmer Launch offers ‘Lite LMS’ capabilities that include a portal for your learners to login, browse, self-enroll, and launch learning content. The portal welcome page can be branded with a custom logo, text and theme. The portal offers the basic functionality of an LMS, including:
Content Hosting
Administrators can upload content packages (SCORM, xAPI, or cmi5) as well as add links to externally hosted content (including videos), for learners to access in the portal.
Manage Users
Administrators can create individual learner profiles as well as upload CSV files to enrol learners in bulk. Additional granular permissions can be assigned to users allowing for different types of roles. Administrators can also verify accounts, reset passwords, and manage the enrolments and registrations/attempts associated with each user.
Create Certificates
Administrators can create their own certificates including branding and colours to use upon completion of specific courses.
Reporting
Administrators can generate and export content status reports to include information about the Learner’s time spent in the content module or course, including enrolments, attempts, and completions.
Learner Access
All learners can view their enrolments as well as current status of a course, including attempts and scores. They can also view and print an official certificate of completion, as evidence of their accomplishment.

Resell your content and facilitate consumption-based billing
Learning content uploaded to your Larmer Launch instance can be configured as a downloadable link which can be shared multiple times. This enables you to resell your learning content to clients outside of your organisation, manage access to the content and track consumption. You can set a limit to the number of times content can be launched and set an expiry date. All this consumption data can be tracked to support your billing process.
LMS Integration
Bridge the gap between xAPI content and your LMS
For organisations that have an LMS that only tracks SCORM content and require enhanced tracking via xAPI, Administrators can configure Larmer Launch to integrate with an LMS via LTI and by using the Launch API. This allows an LMS to utilise Launch’s SCORM and xAPI content playback and tracking capabilities.
Administrators can also configure Larmer Launch so that the xAPI data is sent to an ADL xAPI-conformant LRS of your choice.
Hosting
Larmer Launch is hosted on a UK Private Cloud, either single or multi-tenancy. Single Sign On supports multiple types of authentication, including Google, Open ID and Linked In, as well as enhanced password security.
Available on either an annual or monthly subscription, there is no user or admin licence cost for Larmer Launch, as pricing is based on activity or number of xAPI statements.
All clients have access to our UK-based Technical Support Team and Larmer Brown’s services include training for Administrators, as well as Consultancy and Premier Support Agreements tailored to your requirements.
We also offer the Larmer LRS, an official xAPI-Conformant Learning Record Store for storing and retrieving xAPI statements which offers the combined capabilities of an LRS, Analytics Portal and a Learner Portal.
