Client Case Study Seminars

Larmer Brown believes that the Clients who have used our services to support their Projects are best placed to assist others who are responsible for like decisions. These Seminars comprise presentations by our Clients and detail specific elements of their Projects, presenting a ‘warts and all’ story that concludes with a ‘lessons learned’ summary which is invaluable to delegates facing the same challenges.

Each of our Client Case Study Presentations form one session within a full day event hosted by Larmer Brown. The Event Agendas have been structured to provide tangible value to Project, Change and Communication Managers, Testing and Training Managers. Delegates may opt to attend only those sessions that are of specific interest.

Extra value is added by supporting our Client Events with competitive product demonstrations, technical panel discussions and open forums.

Following the success of our Client Seminar in London on 22nd July, Larmer Brown is hosting another event in September 2010. To view the Agenda, click on the link below:

Department of Works and Pensions

Theresa Stevenson, Project Manager at the Department of Work and Pensions will discuss how UPK was co-ordinated for use by multiple project teams across her organisation. Theresa´s presentation describes how challenges such as high security environments, customised context IDs, disability access and multiple dispersed project teams were addressed. A summary of lessons learned will provide the basis for discussion.

DWP first supported the use of UPK via a Pilot Project for training and support on their HR Self Service Project. Getting the technology installed and tested proved the first challenge, more were to follow. Delegates can expect a real insight into a Project Manager´s experience of implementing and supporting UPK Development in a large organisation.
